How to Wear It: Slouchy Belts #2
Do you remember last year’s blog post on our Autumn/Winter 2013 slouchy belts? We gave you a few pointers on how best to wear different variations of our distinct hooked-buckle belt, which connect to a loop at the front and hang down at the front in a ‘V’ formation. While most of those belts are still available now, additional slouch belts have made their way to the collection online. Meet the latest arrivals…
The Laura belt is very similar to the previous slouch belt designs, but the most noticeable difference is its textured hooked buckle that now faces in the opposite direction. Laura is available in 5 gorgeous metallic colours (including Indigo, Pewter, Soft Gold and Bronze), but today we’re focusing on Crimson. Red tones always work best against a black base, and a sleeved maxi dress is ideal. Match her up with this Dents scarf in Berry, but tuck it in to show the belt off fully.
A simple trio of colours will work wonders with this suede/leather belt; a cream knitted dress, tan brown boots and the Chloe belt in Indigo is the best combination for transitioning between the summer and autumn seasons. Experiment with Chloe’s colour variations, such as Black and Taupe for that lovely autumnal look.
